Mining guide 1-99

Hello there, Lance13 here.. So here I am again, bored out of my mind yet again so I figured I might as well make another guide tonight.. As Terry Ak1 had requested, this one will be on Mining.

In this guide I will give you the fastest possible way to get to level 99 mining starting from level 1.

I will provide an xp/hr and gp/hr, as I did for my first guide So let's get started. First of all, the only thing you really need for mining, is a pickaxe. It is always recommended you use the pickaxe of the highest level you can possibly use. AS WELL I READ THAT ROCKS SPAWN FASTER IN CROWDED WORLDS. SO CHOOSE A WORLD WITH LOTS OF PEOPLE

Lvls 1-15
Starting out there isn't a hell of a lot you can really mine, so I have two options for this piece.. Either you can mine tin/copper up until 15, or you can do the quest 'Rune Mysteries' and mine rune essence. Either will work.

GP:Negligible lol

Lvl 15-80
Haha, this is going to be a very short guide by the looks of things. Nothing at all can compare to the xp yield rates that iron ore gets up until level 80. I recommend you powermine this all as banking will severely drop your xp rates. If you are unfamiliar with powermining, it is when you mine an ore then immediately drop it and click the rock again to mine another once it spawns. The best locations for this, are the fishing colony, which is northwest of the tree gnome stronghold, Yanille, or south of Ardougne in front of that monastary place

Lvl 80-99
Concentrated Gold. By far is the best way to train past level 80, find yourself a crowded world with lots of people mining these in the Living rock caverns, the more people on the rock, the longer it lasts, there is a bank deposit nearby and you can get a good 2-3 loads before they run out usually. As a side note for this, make sure you are wearing high defence equipment as there are high level monsters around.

GP:230k gp/hr

Haha thank you Galac I plan to keep posting very detailed guides such as this one, I may try some money making ones as well. I'll just wait and see how the turnout of my other guides are first!

It's cool for those, who just wanna get their lvls up, but if you want to train smithing or make some money while at it - this isn't the way. Maybe you could make a guide 4 that too? I'm really looking forward to a money making guide tho

Another thing I'd like to suggest is this. If your a member and have 68 mining, do the dwarf quests. After King of the Dwarves, you'll unlock the Lava Flow Mine, amazing xp but no gain. It's the ivy of mining.

This isn't bad but what abuot a f2p method w/o concentrated gold? That would be useful.
