As you've probably noticed, under everyone's username theres a new section named 'points'
These points are set in place by how much you post, and what forums you post in. For example: posting a new topic in the General Discussion forum with earn you 3 points. Replying to the post can earn you 1.

Each forum has a different points range that you can earn, divided up by how much more necessary the posts would be.

Why have the point system? Because quality over quantity. It basically helps everyone identify which forum most of that user's posts are coming from.

This can be EXTREMELY confusing, because it's pretty hard to explain so if you have any questions feel free to ask!
